On behalf of the Suppliers Council, we were very glad to have Antoine attend our event. His upbeat, energetic approach was a perfect fit. He got the crowd into it, and helped us achieve our fundraising goal for a good cause.
From my initial conversation with Antoine over the phone, I knew he would do well as our auctioneer. What sets Antoine apart from the dozens of other auctioneers that I called was a simple, yet crucial, characteristic he possesses: passion. Antoine loves benefit auctions, he loves the crowd, he loves the interactions, and he loves each cause he works for. However, just because he loves what he does, that does not mean Antoine neglects the other qualities required for a successful auction. He is well-organized and highly-skilled with many auctioning techniques up his sleeves. His simple yet effective suggestions – without a doubt – single-handedly doubled the amount that we would have raised. What is also very impressive about him is that a few hours prior to each of our meetings, he would call just to see what’s up and make sure that the meeting was still a go. You can really tell that Antoine wanted to be a part of it, not just be the guy talking up front. If you just want to sell items, get any auctioneer.
